The Bangladeshi taka ended steady on Thursday after demand for dollars weakened as import-related payments slowed ahead of the weekend starting on Friday, dealers said.
The taka was quoted at 59.40/59.54 per US dollar, against 59.40/59.56 on Wednesday.
Call rates ranged between 2.25 percent and 6.0 percent against 2.0-6.0 percent on Wednesday.
