Chinese authors Chen Guidi and Wu Chuntao have been awarded a prestigious international prize for their expose of corruption and violence against peasants in China, the organisers said Sunday.
The first prize of the Lettre Ulysses award for the art of reportage, worth 50,000 euros (58,000 dollars), was awarded here Saturday to the husband-and-wife team for their book "An Investigation of China's Peasantry" - which was banned by the Chinese government after becoming a best-seller.
