The NWFP government is launching a Rs11 billion water supply scheme with the grant approved by UK government.
The NWFP minister for Local Bodies Sardar Idrees gave this information to provincial minister for mineral development Irfanullah Khan Marwat during a meeting at latter's office here on Friday.
Sardar Idress said that it is the priority of their government to provide maximum facilities to the people. Briefing about various projects launched in Sindh, Irfanullah Marwat said that work on Thar Coal Project is in full swing to provide cheap electricity to the people.
He said that after completion of this project the socio-economic condition of people of Thar will be improved. The Sindh Minister informed that government is also launching Thar Development Project under which water, roads and other civic facilities would be provided to Tharis.
