Minister for Information and Broadcasting Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Saturday expressed the hope that the two kidnapped Chinese engineers will soon be recovered safely.
Talking to PTV, the minister said "I believe they will be recovered soon safely".
"Our security agencies have surrounded them (hostage- takers)" he added.
Giving details of the incident the Minister said two Chinese engineers working at Gomal Darn were kidnapped by four unidentified men when they were on their way to a camp namely 'Kot Murtara. They were kidnapped near Tank in settled area, the minister said.
