Minister for Management and Provincial Development Department Sardar Hassan Akhtar Moakal has said that we must utilise our resources to enhance the performance of government officials in the province.
While addressing inaugural ceremony of a 15-day training programme for tehsildars here on Monday, Moakal said that the revenue department is of great importance in the economy but unfortunately, due to lack of computerisation, the department could not get appreciation and reorganisation from the general public.
He said the Punjab Chief Minister is giving top priority to the education and health sectors and computerisation of revenue department is also in final stage.
He said his department is going to establish training centers at defunct divisional level to enhance the performance of government officials.
He said the government employees would be promoted on the basis of their skills and performance after obtaining training from MPDD.
Earlier, the minister awarded certificates to participants of the training programme.
