International peace conference, entitled "Towards stability, peace and justice in South Asia," will be held here on October 25 and 26 under the auspices of Kashmir Centre here.
According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), the conference aims at developing trust and mutual understanding among people concerned about Kashmir.
The conference will provide a platform for all parties concerned to talk together in an atmosphere of mutual respect.
Lord Nazir Ahmad will deliver the inaugural address on October 25.
First day's speakers include APHC Chairman Syed Ali Gilani, Hamid Nasir Chattha, Lars Rise, Karan Parker, Barrister Abdul Majid Tramboo, Sardar Attiq Ahmad Khan, Shaikh Tajammul-ul-Islam and Dr Clinton Bennett.
On the second day, ie October 26, the list of speakers include Lord Bill MacKenzie, Dr G. N. Fai, Jouls Elles, Mushahid Hussain Syed, Najamuddin Shaikh, Dr Shirin Mazari, MP Roger Godsiff, Gautam Nualkha and Victoria Schofield, KMS reported.
