Unabated loadshedding just ahead of Ramazan continued to test the nerves of Karachiites as the KESC failed to respond to power failure complaints on Thursday.
KESC consumers complained that the corporation continued to cover its inefficiency on the pretext of maintenance of its distribution and supply network.
It appeared that the corporation is totally oblivious of its responsibility to ensure uninterrupted power supply just ahead of the holy month.
Many consumers warned that if the same situation persists during Ramazan, specially during Taravees and other religious congregations, it might create law and order situation in the city.
A large number of complaints about repeated power interruption from various localities of the city were received.
North Karachi, North Nazimabad, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Federal B. Area, Korangi, Lyari and Kharadar were badly hit by the unannounced loadshedding.
People from different parts of the city complained that despite repeated calls, the KESC complaint centres did not even bother to address the problem.
