Mirwaiz favours bus service without visa

All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader Mirwaiz Omer Farooq on Friday favoured the initiation of Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus service without passport or visa.
"APHC supports step by step approach for a final solution of the issue. Restoration of bus service would serve as a vital Confidence Building Measure (CBM). It would also help gauging Indian seriousness towards the issue of Kashmir," he told a TV channel.

According to details the Hurriyat leader said if need arose the system prevalent from 1947 to 1953 could be restored, he said adding that during that period the relevant Deputy Commissioners of both parts of Kashmir used to issue permits to the intending visitors.
However, Mirwaiz expressed his dissatisfaction on issuing international documents for intending Kashmiri travellers.
