Brazilian sugar vessels line-up grows

The line-up of vessels waiting to load sugar in Brazil's ports increased to 48 from 45 last week, shipping agent Williams said on Thursday.
Williams said in a weekly report 28 vessels were lined up in the southern port of Santos, the same as last week.
At Paranagua there were eight ships, up from seven last week, and at Maceio there were three, down from four last week.
Santos accounted for 69 percent of the sugar being loaded in Brazilian ports, while Paranagua garnered 13 percent.
Brazil's main center-south sugarcane region is in the last phases of its harvest, which was delayed by rain from May through July.
