Four tribesmen were killed and two were wounded in a tribal clash over old enmity near Barkhan on Sunday. According to a report two groups of Mezrani Khetran tribe clashed at Choor Kot about 5 miles from Barkhan due to old enmity between them. They fired 60 rockets and 20 mortar shells against each other. In their battle, wall of a mosque was also damaged in the area.
Reports said that a body was recovered from the scene while another was found from Basti Jhang about 5 km from the scene. Another person Hussain Ali from the other side was also killed.
A wounded was brought to Baghao where he succumbed to his injuries, report added. Two seriously wounded tribesmen were removed to Dera Ghazi Khan for treatment.
District Administration Officer Mir Ahmad Nausherwani reached the scene along with heavy posses of Levies Force. He succeeded in controlling the situation. However, tense peace prevailed in the area.
