Under Ramazan Package, the provincial government so far has provided more than one million Atta bags to the masses on subsidised rates. In order to ensure the just and fair distribution of Atta, some three hundred-sale points have been established throughout the province. As a part of this special Ramazan Package some 2,85,000/- bags of 20 Kg weight will be provided to masses at various sale points on Saturday.
The process is vigilantly monitored by Minister Food Fazle Rabbani Advocate and Secretary Food, whereas local police representatives are also monitoring the process of Atta distribution.
It is worth mentioning that availability of Atta at subsidised rates, under the special Ramazan Package not only has facilitated the masses, but also led to stability in the prices in the open market.
