Punjab University vice-chancellor Arshad Mahmood Monday gave awards and shields to the students of College of Art and Design who participated in Rafi Peer Theatre workshop and a play 'Khamosh Cheikh' based on the theme of child abuse.
The awards of best play, best supporting actor and best script were given to this play.
Earlier, addressing the newly selected players of different departments of the university Arshad urged upon them to give due attention to their studies. The university has been following merit in the admission on sports and that was why the Punjab University won 26 medals in the last inter-universities sports, he added.
