Have you ever come across a situation when you are travelling in a public bus/van the person sitting next to you starts smoking. You must have witnessed such an occasion very often. How embarrassing and disgusting the situation is when one person out of 50-60 people, disrespects and disregards the majority and remains ignorant of the adverse effects of the smoke released by him, through his mouth and nose.
Besides, disliking cigarettes, there may be a person who does not smoke at all, cannot stand smoke or a patient who cannot even afford to smell smoke.
Is there any law that enables those in the bus/van to do something to stop such a nuisance or is it the responsibility of the present administration to enforce some relevant strict laws which prohibits smoking in such a place, for the sake of the safety of the innocent people, including the sick and ladies.
