BoP and PPCBL to extend loans for livestock sector

Bank of Punjab (BoP) and Punjab Provincial Co-operative Bank Limited (PPCBL) will extend loans for promotion of livestock sector in the province.
This was stated by Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in a meeting here Tuesday. In order to promote livestock sector, pilot projects were being initiated in the districts of Sahiwal, Okara, Muzaffargarh and Jhang, he said. He stated that veterinary doctors would be provided motorcycles. 'With the cost of Rs 100 million an institution of cow development will be established in Sahiwal', he added.-PR
