Chairman of "Awami Action Committee", Mirwaiz Umar Farooq expressed the hope that the lingering Kashmir dispute would be resolved through tripartite dialogue between Pakistan, India and genuine representatives of Kashmiris.
According to Kashmir Media Service, while addressing a congregation here Mirwaiz said that going by the fast changing global situation, they hope that Kashmir issue could be resolved through a tripartite dialogue.
He urged people not to feel dejected by the administrative and other changes and said that those things would not affect the Kashmir issue. People should not feel demoralised at this stage.
"We should not lose heart and I hope we will achieve our goal", he said.
Mirwaiz paid rich tributes to late Mirwaiz Yousuf Shah and said that he was a visionary and craved for the solution of Kashmir issue.
