Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim, who also heads Pakistan Muslim League (PML) Sindh Chapter, on Thursday constituted two committees to devise a comprehensive strategy for contesting next local bodies elections in the province.
According to Additional General Secretary PML Sindh Abdul Ghaffar Qureshi, Sindh CM has entrusted these committees with task of formulating a comprehensive strategy for next local bodies elections, both in rural and urban Sindh.
He said Sindh CM would be the president of both the committees while General Secretary PML Sindh Imtiaz Shaikh would be the coordinator of the committees, which have been directed to launch surveys of union councils in the province and prepare recommendations on contesting next local bodies elections.
The first committee, constituted for Karachi will be comprised of provincial minister Irfanullah Marwat, Naib Nazim Karachi Tariq Hassan, Captain Haleem Siddiqui, Aleem Adil Shaikh, Alhaj Shamimuddin, Bostan Ali Hoti, Amanullah Paracha, Mir Hasan Khoso and Abdul Ghaffar Qureshi.
The other committee constituted for interior of Sindh will be comprised of Murtaza Khan Jatoi, Nadir Akmal Laghari, Maqbool Ahmed Shaikh, Mir Hasan Khoso, Shahabuddin Shah, Ghulam Qadir Malkani and Mir Muhammad Khokhar.
