Wheat futures at the Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures turned higher early on Friday, following through from the bounce on Thursday, traders said. Wheat is gaining late this week amid fund buying after the market had fallen to near-oversold technical levels. There was light technical fund buying in the early trade on Friday. At 10:10 am CST (1610 GMT), CBOT wheat was up 1-1/2 to 2 cents per bushel higher, with December up 2 at $3.05.
Term Commodities was a light seller of December near the open and O'Connor and Co was a noted buyer.
Some lingering support was coming from the fact that Egypt late this week bought US wheat.
