President Pervez Musharraf has special attachment with Thatta and wants to see development taking place in this district. This was stated by the Chairman Parliamentary Committee on Water Resources Senator Nisar Memon while inaugurating electrification of village Panjoo Khaskheli, near Gujo some 15 kilometres from the city on Sunday.
He said a sum of Rs 0.86 million was spent from his Senator's fund for supply of electricity to the village. He said about 100 houses of this village would be benefited from electricity.
On the occasion, Nisar Memon who also holds the office of Additional Secretary PML appealed to the people to join Pakistan Muslim League (PML) and strengthen the government.
He said he would strive for provision of electricity, roads, telephone and natural gas to other villages of Thatta district.
