Tariqabad Police have arrested two members of a gang on the charge of making slaves to the minor and innocent children and forcing them laborious jobs. Police also recovered seven children from the custody of the accused.
According to details, Police Sub-Inspector Abdul Jabbar had got registered the case taking the plea that Falik Sher s/o Shah Din Peerwala of Bahawal Nagar and Bashir Ahmad s/o Ahmad Bakhsh of Bahawal Nagar Sadder had shifted minor children to Faisalabad after kidnapping them from Bahawal Nagar and other southern Punjab cities, and started the shameful business of getting illegal forcible labour from them like slaves.
According to police, when the accused were interrogated, they were busy in getting forcible labour from children like slaves they could not give any reasonable reply on which they were arrested and legal action was taken against them.
The children recovered from the culprits included Irfan (7) s/o Yasin, Maqsood Raza (10) s/o Riaz, Imran (9) s/o Sheikh Sajjan, Mohammad Amjad (10) s/o Amir Din, Khurram Shehzad (7) s/o Zulfiqar, Muhammad Akram (15) s/o Mohammad Rafique, and Mohammad Nadeem (12) s/o Bashir Gondal.
It is learnt that besides Bashir and Falak Sher some other persons also involved in this illegal business. The steps are being taken to arrest the other persons involved this heinous crime.
