The government has extended the period of parole for next 24 hours on the request of Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani former speaker of National Assembly. Now he would leave for Adiala prison, Rawalpindi on Monday.
The government had released him on three days parole on November 5 to attend the funeral rites of his mother who died in a Lahore's hospital as per jail manual he was bound to reach at Adiala prison at 0500 pm on November 7 but it was not possible for him to leave for Islamabad when Qul-Khawani of his mother was due in the evening on November 7.
