The most eligible bachelor in the Indian film industry Ranbir Kapoor is searching for his life partner, as his parents Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor has been short listing prospective brides for their son.
According to Hindustan Times, a source close to the actor said that Rishi Kapoor and Neetu are concerned about their son’s future they’ve had enough of his bachelor life.
On the other hand, Rishi Kapoor once said that he doesn’t want to force Ranbir for their choice. When asked Rishi Kapoor about who Ranbir's ideal wife would be, he said, "I don’t interfere in his personal life. You can’t expect today’s children to go in for an arranged marriage. Today they’d rather opt for live-in. The total concept of love and marriage has changed. I had a love marriage. I chose my wife. My parents didn’t impose their choice. We have no say in Ranbir’s choice. When Ranbir decides to marry someone, we won’t have any objections.”
In fact he had said in an interview, “We’d only be happy to have a daughter-in-law.”
It had been famously reported that Neetu publicly disapproved Ranbir’s last girl friend Katrina Kaif as a bride for her son. However, Ranbir’s sister Riddhima wants to help her parents to find bride whether he likes it or not.
As for now, Ranbir Kapoor is busy shooting for his next movie ‘Jagga Jasoos’ with Katrina Kaif. The movie will hit theatres later this year.
