The Karachi Port handled 90,493 tonnes of cargo including 74,431 tonnes import and 16,062 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday. The cargo comprised of 43,343 tonnes dry and 47,150 tonnes liquid cargo. Three ships namely Allpine, MT Swat and Yanaseni sailed out to sea during the report period. Seven vessels viz Yanaseni, Nur Yanbu, Wan Hai-262, Sargodha, MT Johar, Lai King, and Sea Valet are currently at the berths. MT Sinar Bontang expected to sail on Saturday, while two ships namely Attar and MT Johar are expected to sail on Sunday.
Two ships namely Dubulti and Chem Bulk Fortitude due to arrive on Saturday, while four vessels viz Thor Captain, Nefelf-1, Cosmos Ace and Metaxata are due to arrive on Sunday.
Two ships namely Al Maqwa and Pu He are due to arrive on Monday.
The cargo comprised of 3,020 tonnes chemicals; 22,325 tonnes furnace oil; 10,621 tonnes wheat; 13,249 tonnes iron ore and 14,671 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three vessels viz Maya, Anette Kosan and Victory-I sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while two more ships namely MSC Delia and Anjum are expected to sail on Saturday.
A total of three vessels viz MSC Austria, Global-F and Keefan are currently at the outer anchorage.
Five ships namely MSC Austria, Keefan, Iron Butterfly and OOCL Authority due to take berths on Saturday.
