A member of the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) has approached the Lahore High Court (LHC) seeking directions to the respondent federal government to make an appeal to US government to stop the killings in Iraq and also quit there immediately. The petitioner M.D. Tahir contended that the US invasion on Iraq was unjustified, as it had become clear that Iraq did not possess any weapons of mass destruction, therefore there was no justification existed for US and her allied forces to remain in Iraq any more.
