The All Pakistan Income Tax Bar Association, in collaboration with the Income Tax Bar Association, Karachi, is organising the 12th general council meeting and general body meeting of Asia Oceania Tax Consultants Association here on November 26 and 27. The meeting on November 26 will be followed by a seminar on "Comparison of Pakistan economy with the Asean economies." The Governor of State Bank of Pakistan, Dr Ishrat Hussain, will be the chief guest as well as the keynote speaker of the seminar. The seminar will be followed by dinner and cultural evening.
In addition to the general body meeting of the AOTCA, a separate seminar will be organised by the AOTCA on November 27 when two foreign delegates will make their deliberations.
It is for the first time that Pakistan has been honoured to organise the POTCA meeting. Several delegates from Australia, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Singapore and India have confirmed their participation in the meeting.
Asia Oceania Tax Consultants' professionals was founded in 1992 in Japan, Pakistan is one of the founding members of the association and has always participated actively.-PR
