Former Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali has disclosed that December 31, 2004 was not the date to shed military uniform by the President, rather it was the date to implement the nine (9) points which were agreed upon by Sharifuddin Pirzada, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and him (Mir Zafarullah Jamali). There was no any agreement between President and Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) regarding the uniform issue.
Talking to newsmen on the occasion of Eid Milan party hosted by Abdul Hameed Lasti on Friday in Usta Muhammad, he said, this is the democratic right of ARD and MMA to hold Public meetings, but they will not succeed if they launched any protest move, as they are well aware of the circumstances.
He added that if the opposition launched agitation on uniform issue, it would face the government.
Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali told the problems being faced by Balochistan would be brought under consideration to find solution after report of Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, the Chairman of the Senate's Sub-Committee for Balochistan Affairs and Secretary General of Pakistan Muslim League (PML).
