At least seven persons were killed and 26 others sustained injuries when a passenger bus tumbled from a bridge at Indus Highway on Friday. According to details the ill-fated Peshawar-bound bus coming from Karachi plunged from Buzdar Bridge at Indus Highway due to over speeding. As a result seven persons, including two women and driver, were killed on the spot.
The injured were admitted in Toonsa Hospital and Nishter Hospital Multan from which some are stated to be in critical condition.
The local administration along with police rushed to the accident site and carried out rescue operation. The Wahuwa police has started investigation.
