The present government has initiated a number of steps for the promotion of agriculture, education, industrial production, increase in water resources, speedy dispensation of justice and elimination of poverty and unemployment in the country. This was stated by the State Minister for Housing and Works Sardar Mohammad Asif Nakai while inaugurating the Alipur Link Road at Choniaan on Sunday.
He lauded the steps announced by Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz during his address to the nation for the prosperity and development of the country. He said that the government was giving full attention to the development of backward areas of the country.
Appreciating the meeting between Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and Opposition leader Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman the minister said that the opposition and the government should work jointly for the prosperity of the country.
He said that 100 villages of Choniaan would be provided electricity at the end of this year.
