Acting President of Pakistan and Senate Chairman Muhammadmian Soomro said on Sunday he would take action according to rules and regulation, if the bill regarding dual office for president comes to him for signature as acting president. Talking to newsmen after extending condolence with Sindh Minister Syed Aijaz Ali Shah Sherazi and District Nazim Syed Shafqat Hussain Shah Sherazi on demise of their mother, he disclosed that a progress has been reached among the provinces on NFC award.
Ruling out any possibility of political changes in present government, he said assemblies would complete their terms.
Referring to different questions, he said Zardari release was only due to outcome of court orders.
He further said that, opposition was making a noise against military uniform of President Musharraf only for nothing and told that Senate passed two bills according to rules and regulations.
The Senate Chairman, further informed that decision for leader of the opposition would be solved soon.
He told the meeting of the parliamentary committee on Balochistan affairs and NFC award will be held in January 2005.
Afterward, he proceeded to Kotri via road.
