Oil cake market rates

Downward trend was seen on the forward cottonseed oil-cake market on Thursday on strong supply position, dealers said. The December vaida commenced on the overnight level at Rs 401.50 and that proved to be day's lowest at the same rate. Later, it picked up Rs 2 to be day's best at Rs 403.50 and closing was seen at Rs 403.20.
The January vaida opened with 40 paisa at Rs 401.50 in the process of trading it gained Rs 1.30 to be day's best at Rs 402.80. During the day it lost 40 paisa to be day's lowest at Rs 402.40 and market settled at Rs 401.50, dealers said.
