The first-ever Fire and Security Conference, held on December 2, received an overwhelming response.
The conference was chaired by Lt. General Moinuddin Haider (retd) and addressed by the key officials from private security agencies as well as city Government.
Fire Services Incharge Karachi, Colonel Ehtesham addressing the conference informed that City Government was fully committed to the safety of citizens of Karachi.
He said there were only 10 fire stations, two to three years back, and the number had now doubled to provide coverage to the whole city.
