A delegation from the academics of University of Manchester, England emphasised to nurture the possibilities of research collaboration with the Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU). In a call on meeting with VC Quaid-e-Azam University Captain U A Isani here the delegation, led by Dr Kasey Carver, Director International Relations, said that the directory of research of both the universities must be exchanged to evaluate the possibilities of research to be conducted at both the universities.
The VC briefed the delegation about level of studies and research being done at the QAU and informed the delegates that it is one of the best higher education institutions of the country.
The delegation was impressed by the output of the university, especially the number of the PhDs and research publications produced by the university faculty.
Dean Faculty of Social Sciences QAU Professor Dr Waseem Ahmed, chairpersons, department of admin science, chemistry, economics, international relations, earth sciences and computer science also participated in the discussion.
