Another batch of 768 poor Pakistanis, held for illegally entering Oman in search of jobs later arrested and were in the Muscat Jails, returned home on Wednesday early morning in a Boat Al-Mohammadi-2. Their release and return to Pakistan could become fruitful because of the efforts of Ansar Burney Welfare Trust International and Community Welfare section of the Pakistan Embassy at Muscat.
The Boat Al-Mohammadi 2 brought 768 released Pakistanis, at Ghasbander, Keemari, where Syed Fahad Burney, Vice Chairman of the Ansar Burney Welfare Trust International and Syed Sarim Burney incharge of the Trust received them.
According to Syed Fahad Burney, they belonged to various parts of the country and were arrested some time back while trying to enter illegally via sea route in the Gulf State to seek lucrative jobs.
These innocent Pakistanis were smuggled to Middle Eastern countries by the influential Pakistani human smugglers, while showing them the dream of brighter future.
While on a dream of great future these innocents, after selling the households paid huge amounts to the human smuggler agents. Some of them even taken loans on interests and paid to agents to go to abroad for earning, Said Syed Fahad Burney said. These mostly illiterate job seekers hailing from different parts of the country were arrested and put in the jails by Muscat authorities for illegal entries.
"These deportees were smuggled to the Gulf state through Iran after they paid huge amount of money to the agents", Fahad Burney added.
The 768 men arrived here in a Boat, Al-Mohammadi 2 at seaport Ghasbandar, Keemari the port city of Karachi on Wednesday morning, after leaving the Muscat capital of Oman three days ago on horrifying journey of sea.
At the arrival of 768 released Pakistani prisoners from Muscat, at seaport Ghasbander, Keemari, the Ansar Burney Welfare Trust International, has arranged special food, drinking water, clothes and other necessaries of life, as they were hungry and thirsty during horrible sea journey.
