Police have seized 122 kilograms of hashish worth Rs 12.2 million and arrested two women who were running a narcotics den. Her husband was arrested four years ago and he is still in the prison. "We have arrested a female drug pusher Shehr Bano and her maid Naziran Mai who were running a narcotics den in Ghaziabad, Gulgasht colony in Multan city and seized 122 kilograms of hashish which was to be distributed in the city," DPO Multan Sikandar Hayat told this correspondent.
He said that Shehr Bano was released in October,2004 . She and her husband were arrested on the charge of selling drugs. Customs staff have seized 73 kilograms of heroin at Multan airport which was concealed in bed sheets while Anti-narcotics Force had seized 550 maund of Hashish which was to be smuggled to European countries via Middle East two years ago.
