Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Sikander Hayat Khan on Sunday lauded the stern stance of President Pervez Musharraf on Kashmir issue and retaliated India with matching response. Addressing to delegates at his ancestral city Fathepur, Takyala Nikyal, 35 km away from here, he stated that predecessor Pakistani ruler played vital role for enhancing Kashmir issue on global level but President General Pervez Musharraf played unprecedented role for Kashmir cause.
Sardar Sikandar said besides exchange of other delegations between India and Pakistan, the delegation of Kashmiris leaders from both sides should also be exchanged.
He said, "Kashmiris were not terrorists or separatists they are only freedom fighters and endeavouring for their freedom from Indian clamp." He said Pakistan was not perpetrating any interference in held Kashmir.
Sardar said Kashmiris expressed full confidence on Pakistan but for a durable settlement of Kashmir issue, Kashmiris participation in parlays is inevitable. He urged global community to exert pressure on India for withdrawal of its troops from held Kashmir and ensure free and impartial plebiscite in accordance with the UN resolutions.
