Callmate Telips signs agreement with Mobilink

Callmate Telips Telecom became the first company signed the interconnect agreement with Mobilink GSM for Long Distance and International (LDI) operations. The landmark agreement was finalised and signed on Tuesday, January 25. The interconnect will be for LDI services, for which both the companies have licenses. Earlier last year, Callmate Telips was the first company to be awarded the LDI licence in Pakistan and has also become the first to launch LDI operations.
The interconnect will facilitate both companies as Mobilink is by far the market leader amongst GSM operators with the largest subscriber base and Callmate Telips Telecom being the prominent leader in the deregulated telecom industry generates and receives a substantial volume of voice traffic through its pre-paid calling card and LDI operations.-PR
