Wapda Chairman Tariq Hamid has said his organisation was fulfilling its responsibilities for the promotion of sports in line with the priorities set-forth by the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan. He expressed these views while addressing the ceremony organised to give away cash prizes to Wapda medallists and team manager of 29th national games.
Appreciating the tremendous performance of Wapda players in the national games, Tariq said such players were the national heroes and pride for Wapda. He said the authority would continue to patronise the sports and provide the efficient players with job opportunities as well.
