Six people were killed when a yellow cab collided head-on with a Karachi-bound coach near Killi Simli on Quetta-Chaman Road in the limits of Kuchlak police station, here on Sunday, police said. The taxi was on its way to Chaman from Quetta, while the coach was coming from Pishin. Four of the taxi passengers, including the driver, died on the spot, while the other two died on their way to a hospital.
Those killed were identified as Rehmatullah, Abdul Razzaq, Faiz Muhammed, Said Muhammed and Agha Jan, while the name of the sixth deceased could not be identified. The coach diver managed to flee from the scene.
Police have impounded both the vehicles and started investigations.
