SSC reactivation approved

Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim has approved a summary regarding reactivation of Sindh Seed Corporation (SSC). Dr Arbab said that the importance of SSC could not be ignored regarding agricultural development in the province. "The Corporation is needed to facilitate growers and provide them with better quality seeds," he said, adding, "in the absence of government institution private sector may establish its monopoly."
He has also approved payment of all the dues of Seed Corporation employees. Dr Arbab said that the SSC would have to perform its duty diligently as non-availability of better seeds the production is affected.
