US-based newspaper and magazine publisher International Data Group said on Tuesday it planned to invest 20 million dollars over five years to set up an Indian office. "When set up, IDG India will function as a full-service hub for IDG's global publications, including the launch of a pioneering magazine on outsourcing targeted for distribution world-wide," said David Hill, president of international publishing services, IDG.
He said the firm's new content services and publishing office would be set up in India's southern technology hub of Bangalore with a staff of 200.
