Indian External Affairs Minister Kanwar Natwar Singh telephoned Foreign Minister Khurshid Kasuri on Saturday to convey his condolence over the death and destruction caused by the heavy rains in the country. Foreign Minister Natwar Singh requested Foreign Minister Kasuri to convey his sympathies to the members of the family of the victims on his behalf and on behalf of the government and people of India, who lost lives following the over a week long rains.
Foreign Minister Khurshid M. Kasuri thanked Foreign Minister Natwar Singh for his gesture.
Foreign Minister Kasuri told Foreign Natwar Singh that he was looking forward to his visit to Pakistan next week to take forward the process of Composite Dialogue between the two countries.
