A modern management system would be evolved for the exploration of mineral resources of the province and necessary instructions have been issued to the concerned quarters. Punjab Mines and Minerals (M&M) Minister, Muhammad Sibtain Khan expressed these views while talking to a delegation of mines owners of various cities of Punjab here on Saturday, disclosed an official. Sibtain said that comprehensive programme was being evolved to provide roads, schools, hospitals and other facilities in mining areas.
He stated that mine workers would also be provided housing, health and other basic facilities like industrial workers.
