Upward trend persisted on the forward cottonseed oilcake market on Saturday in the process of trading, dealers said. The March vaida commenced with 50 paisa loss at Rs 416.50 and that proved to be day's lowest at the same levels. During the day, it gained rupee one to be day's best at Rs 417.50 and closing was seen at the same level.
The may vaida opened with 20 paisa gain at Rs 426.80. Later, it picked up Rs 1.10 to be day's best at Rs 427.90. In the process of trading it lost Rs 1.40 to be day's bottom at Rs 426.50 and market settled at Rs 427.70.
