Minister for Religious Affairs, Zakat and Ushr, Muhammad Ejaz-ul-Haq on Thursday said that action would be initiated on the recommendations of inquiry committee to probe irregularities in Haj arrangements. "The committee headed by Joint Secretary (Haj) of the Ministry A.R. Abid has submitted its report which will soon be implemented," he said talking to media men on the occasion for departure of emergency relief goods for victims of rains, snow and floods in Balochistan.
The minister, however, said that no major irregularity has been mentioned in the report. Responding to a question, he said new Umrah policy will be announced by the end of this month.
