Senate Chairman Muhammedmian Soomro will deliver a lecture on "emerging opportunities in Pakistan," at Harvard Business School on Saturday. Chairman Senate currently visiting United States has been invited by the Harvard Business School to attend the Harvard Asia Business Conference 2005, being held in Boston, Massachusetts from February 18 to 19 organised by Harvard Business School, Harvard Law School and the Kennedy School of government.
Conference is focused on the issues of 'outsourcing and innovation in Asia'. It would explore economic, political and social ramifications and the event is likely to spawn meaningful discussion and debate regarding future direction for Asian businesses and economies providing a useful avenue to develop lasting relationship between the existing and future leadership of Asia.
Soomro is likely to take part in the panel discussion on "Corporate Turnarounds in Asian Markets." Chairman Senate will also address Pakistani students in Harvard.
Muhammedmian Soomro has also been invited by Pakistani American Congress to attend its 13th Annual Regional Symposiums. He is likely to give keynote presentation on "state of Pakistan, opportunities and challenges and the new dimensions in US - Pakistan relations under President Bush's second term and in the light of 9/11 Commission Report.
It may be mentioned here that Pakistani American Congress (PAC) represents 65 chapters of community organisations across North America and it holds regional symposiums annually besides organising summit at the Capital Hill.
