imageConvincing someone that you are competitive enough is a tough competition. Shah Hussain Shah, 23, is probably Pakistan’s only hope for a medal in Rio Olympics.

He will be competing in Judo competition. He will be seen in action on Thursday (today)

According to local media report; the 22-year old Shah, who will become the first Pakistani to feature in Olympics in judo, will compete with the winner of the fight which will be held today between world No31 Kurbonove Soyib of Uzbekistan and world No33 Blosenko Arten of Ukrain. The two will fight in the evening and Shah’s fight is expected to be held around 8pm PST.

An official of Pakistan Judo Federation (PJF) hoped that Shah would put in his best. “The way Shah underwent training in Japan I am confident he will win his first bout,” PJF secretary Masood Ahmed

Shah’s father Hussain Shah was also confident of his son’s victory.

“My son has trained well and I hope he will produce the desired results,” Shah Hussain said.

Shah, son of former Pakistan’s bronze medalist Olympian boxer Hussain Shah, will also have the assistance of his Japanese coach Kawai Takuji. Hussain Shah has also requested the countrymen to pray for his son's success at the Olympic.
