Singapore bunker prices rose on Monday, tracking higher fuel oil cargo values. Bunker fuel oil of 380-centistoke (cst) grade was pegged at $213-$215 a tonne, up $5 from last Friday, widening the differential to cargo levels to a premium of $3.63 cents, up $4 from the previous trading day. "There is some supply tightness in the market as some independents have problems lifting their cargoes due to congestion," a Singapore-based trader said.
"Majors are the only sellers who can supply so they can command higher prices. Most were transacting at around $214-$215 a tonne levels."
