Pakistan on Wednesday announced appointment of Mustafa Kamal Kazi as Ambassador of Pakistan to the Russian Federation. Mustafa Kamal Kazi served as Ambassador of Pakistan to the Republic of Iraq from 1992-96, Indonesia from 1996-97. He joined the Foreign Service in 1973 and held various diplomatic assignments in Pakistan Missions abroad. These include posting at Stockholm (1974-76), Addis Ababa (1976-78), Paris (1981-85) and Tokyo (1985-88).
He also served at the Headquarters and served as Additional Secretary at the Headquarters from 1997-2000. Director General (1990-92), Director (1980-81 & 1988-89) and Section Officer (1973-74 & 1979).
Presently he is serving as Ambassador of Pakistan to Netherlands since August 2000.
