General Manager Railways, Abdul Wahab Awan, on Wednesday Mayo Hospital to enquire about the health of those injured in train mishap at Kot Molchand. Speaking on the occasion, Wahab Awan also distributed cheques of financial assistance amongst the injured persons. He said that financial assistance from the railways was indicative of the fact that PR fully realises the damage suffered by the injured passengers. According to a spokesman of railways, cheques worth Rs 500,000 were distributed among the injured persons.
