The Washington State University (WSU) has invited Vice-chancellor of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore, Professor Dr Manzoor Ahmad to the United States to receive his WSU Alumni Achievement Award for the year 2004. Dr Manzoor Ahmad is the first non-American alumnus of the WSU, who has been nominated for this award for the year 2004.
In a letter to the UVAS's vice-chancellor, WSU Director, International Programme, Dr Robert J. Harder congratulated Professor Manzoor on this award and said the university would hold a special ceremony in which the WSU president would present him the award.
