A delegation of old Ravians including retired military and civil bureaucrats from India have reached here through Wagah Border on Friday, to participate in celebrations of 140th anniversary of Government College University (GCU), Lahore, which will be held from March 19 to 24. Members of the old Ravians Union of GCU welcomed the delegation at the Wagah border. Five colourful functions would be held from March 19 to 24.
A debate between the sitting Ravians and old Ravians would be held on March 20. On March 21, a musical evening would be held in which singers from Pakistan and India would perform.
There would be a contributory dinner followed by musical performance on the fourth day of the celebrations. The Music Society of the GCU is organising this musical show in honour of Pakistani and Indian Old Ravians. On March 24, a cricket match would be held.
